Why did I start this site? Who is Lorenzo Acevedo(AoS)? and a few other things
Why did I start this site/blog?
The point of this project is to help people get informed who usually aren't. It frustrates me a bit that people aren't aware of what's going on. So I'm deciding to do something about it. I've been told I have "inside connections" when I simply just ask & chat with people all over the scene. I feel like I can help change things a tiny bit via this method. Some people just need to pay attention to what I'm doing.
For personal reasons; I need a way to start getting my thoughts together in a somewhat proper manner because I'm starting college in the fall. After not really writing/typing in a formal way, A lot of practice is needed.
Who is Lorenzo Acevedo? (AoS)
I'm a very passionate fan of UK Hardcore/Breakbeat Hardcore. It's made me connect with people in a world where I often feel like I don't belong. I turn 22 years old tomorrow; I have Asperger's, ADHD, & PTSD. I'm also a producer of UK Hardcore/Breakbeat Hardcore. I've had a hell of a journey these past 6 months. I've accomplished really cool things in the past 6 months(I don't feel going into depth-I'll say "cool things"). There's a lot more cool things coming soon. I've recently started doing Breakbeat Hardcore & that seems to be really taking off behind things.
Other things(what to expect from this) etc
The idea behind this comes from a conversation with Jon Doe(CLSM) in December about being involved in things & helping/contribute in someway to the scene.
I'm not going to post every single release. It's more so the things that I personally feel like belong here. This site kind of shows what I'm personally a fan of & what I keep up with. I'm probably going to see a bit bias towards a few labels. That's just the music I like what I'm hearing at the moment. Feel free to contact me though if you want me to check it out & possibly be posted on here.
There's going to be different interviews with producers from time to time which relate to the current things going on or current album projects. Different interviews to over the next year or so fromAl Storm(24/7 Hardcore 100th release), Chris Ross(HU Breaks Vol 2), Fracus(Hardcore Underground 7), Timmy Ellis-DJ/MC Dynamic(Total Request Rave 10), Haze(Sydney's Hardcore scene). There will be loads others every once & awhile depending on things. One should be posted every 2/3 weeks though.
